We proudly introduce the ‘Case Template’ function, which combines the ‘Case Type’, ‘Subtype’, ‘Use Default Task List’ and ‘Copy From a Previous Case’ functions from the previous version.
Case templates are backward compatible. You can still search and find all case bundle presets from the dropdown menu.
Case template types
There are two types of the case templates: Custom templates and Gallery templates.
Gallery templates are the case bundle presets provided by the NEUTRINET system.
Custom templates are the ones with your customized task list items.
Example:
If you have updated the default task list for the ‘Employment Authorization Documents’ case, you will find two ‘Employment Authorization Documents’ case templates: the preset one from the Gallery and another one from the Custom templates
If you just started using the program, you may have zero custom templates.
Case template labels
You will find either a ‘Classic’ or ‘Smart’ label next to each case template.
The label indicates the type of worksheets (aka questionnaires) in the chosen case template.
‘Classic’ case templates are the ones that are adapted from the previous version. These case templates cannot be customized with additional forms or worksheets.
‘Smart’ case templates are the ones that contain the upgraded ‘Smart Worksheet’. These case templates can be customized with additional forms and worksheets.
Example:
If you opened a case with the ‘Family-based Green Card I-130 (Smart Worksheet)’ case template, you will be able to add additional forms like I-485, I-765, I-864 and corresponding worksheets into this case.
