Dear Valued NEUTRINET User,
As you may know, we plan to bring you a series of updates this fall. The first update is set to arrive after the system maintenance on Sunday 08-29-2021, which improves profiles and account management.
Here is the release notes of the update. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. Also, we will be more than happy to show you a live demo of these new updates/changes. Schedule a demo: http://calendly.com/neutrinet/demo
IMPORTANT
1. Most of your existing cases/client data won’t be affected by this update
2. 90% of your current user habits stay the same. (The way you create cases, get forms, track status etc.)
Major changes/updates
1. Profiles and Accounts
You can now manage user profiles and system access accounts separately. The email account and the user profile will be managed independently.
Why we made this change?
· To reuse existing client info for new cases
· To improve the flexibility of Task assignments (the Task can be assigned to someone else other than the Task Owner. For example, the interpreter can fill out the worksheets for the clients)
· To make the email become optional upon case creation (No more fake/dummy emails will be required) · To modify and manage client portal access emails
New terminology:
User profile: store information to fill worksheets
Account: email and password to access the system
New function:
Team Management
The “Account Control” section now becomes a standalone section called Team Management
Things you can do:
· Create and manage Attorney Profiles and staff accounts
Client Management
The “Client Profile” section now becomes a standalone section called Client Management
Things you can do:
· Create and manage Company Profiles and Individual Profiles without adding a case
· Create and manage Accounts to control client portal access (enable/disable/change emails)
Profile 2.0 (BETA)
· More fields/attributes to save information
· Create a Profile without adding a case (This can be used for prospect client management)
Profile 2.0 is still in the BETA version, not all fields/attributes will be populated into the related worksheets.
The official Profile 2.0:
· Populate all applicable fields/attributes into related case worksheets
· Create family relationship between profiles to reduce data repetitions for family members
We plan to launch the official Profile 2.0 this fall.
2. +New Case
· Select an existing client profile to add new cases. Applicable profile information will be auto populated into the related worksheets
· Email address becomes optional upon case creation (However, we still recommend you put email address if you wish to activate the client portal)
3. Case Detail Page
· Beneficiary and Petitioner contact info display is added
· Client portal access can now be controlled in the “Accessible Accounts” section
· Client portal access can now be given to more people (other than the Petitioner and the Beneficiary)
For example, the interpreter wants to fill out the worksheet on behalf of the beneficiary:
Step 1. Create an account for the interpreter in the Client Management section
Step 2. Add the interpreter account in the “Accessible accounts”
Step 3. Add the interpreter account to the Task Assignee of the beneficiary worksheet
4. The Task Owner and the Task Assignee
New terminology:
Task Owner: the default person of this task
Task Assignee: the actual User Account who’s going to do the task (For example, the interpreter account is the one to finish the beneficiary worksheet on behalf of the client)
Tips:
· The default Task Assignee will be the User Account of the Task Owner
· Each Task can only be assigned to one Task Owner
· Each Task can be assigned to multiple Task Assignees so that different people can see and work the same task
Upcoming updates
1. Profile 2.0
2. Case type customization
(You will no longer need to stick with the case type presets. Feel free customize your own form bundles and merge family members into one case file)
3. Robust reporting function to manage various expiration dates
4. New forms and form edition updates
We appreciate your patience and understanding. As always, if you have questions or concerns, simply reply to this email or contact support team at support@ailaw.ai.
