To assign a case to a specific staff member, you need to use the Checklist section in a case. Under the Progress Control Bar, you'll find the "Checklist" next to the "Task" Tab. In the "Checklist" section, you can assign an Attorney/Paralegal from the dropdown list. However, to be able to get assigned to a case, the staff member needs to set up an account first. If you cannot find the requested assignee, please go to the "Attorney Account" section to set up their account.
By assigning cases to contractors, attorneys can decide which cases are accessible to contractors.
