If you need to generate forms that do not display attorney or preparer details, please choose one of the following three methods:
Method 1: For Specific Cases (Single Case)
If you only need to hide preparer information for a specific case (e.g., pro se petitions), please follow the instructions in this guide: How to create forms for petitions without attorney representation
Method 2: Firm-wide Default Settings
If your organization generally does not use a default preparer for new cases, you can adjust this in your global settings:
Go to Firm Settings > Advanced.
Locate the Default Preparer section.
Ensure that no selection is made for the default preparer questions (leave the fields blank).
Method 3: Create a "Blank" Attorney Profile
You can also create a placeholder profile to use whenever you want to omit details on a form:
Create a new attorney profile and name it "Blank" or "N/A".
Leave the Name and License fields empty.
When working on a case where no preparer info is needed, select this "Blank" profile as the assigned attorney.
Note: For any cases that do not involve an attorney, we recommend applying a "blank" preparer profile to ensure the best formatting outcome.
